I loved Harriet the Spy and Figure It Out, and I had a Nick Magazine with her on the cover (and I’m ashamed to say it, but I’d kiss her picture when no one was looking). Recently, I noticed she was on the cover of Maxim! Now, on one hand, my grown up self was saying, “Damn, dude! She has to be the hottest celebrity alive!” On the other hand, my inner-child was screaming “Nooo! Where is the girl next door I feel in love with?!!”“
